2 days of Workshops & Hafla with Abeer Will of Alexandria
25th & 26th October 2026

The Buckleton Belly Dance School is honoured to welcome our special guest teacher Abeer Will of Alexandria. Abeer will be teaching two days of Folkloric and Belly Dance workshops for us at Ickleton Village Hall plus we will celebrate her being with us with a Hafla.
ABOUT ABEER WILL
Abeer was born in Alexandria. When she went to university she joined their Egyptian folklore troupe and fell in love with dancing. The Troupe went on to win awards and travelled around Europe, when they travelled to Germany she met and fell in love with her husband. Since her marriage she has been based in Germany but still travelled regularly back home to Egypt.
Abeer said she had the best of both worlds. She earned good money in Germany and this enabled her to take classes with top teachers when she went back to Egypt. Abeer is a great believer in continuous study, and through her continuous study she has a deep knowledge of Folkloric Belly dance. Abeer is now a director of the BELLYDANCE NOW organisation and regularly attends their international summer school, where she usually runs a folkloric course.
It is a great honour for Abeer to have her teach workshops in Cambridge, a rare opportunity to be taught by her within the UK.
